About ImportDutyUSA

ImportDutyUSA is a free, independent reference site that helps US consumers see the real landed cost of a foreign-site order — duty, tariffs, and courier fees — before they click buy. It launched after the 29 August 2025 elimination of the $800 de-minimis exemption made every package shipped to a US address dutiable.

Who publishes this site

ImportDutyUSA is published and maintained by José Manuel Volante González, an independent solo publisher (Tax ID/NIF 49108819R, C/ Zafra 5, 21310 La Zarza, Huelva, Spain) who builds and operates a portfolio of free, single-purpose consumer web tools. Contact: [email protected]. Full provider identification is in the legal notice.

There is no company behind the site, no sales team, and no login. Pages may carry advertising in the future (none is live today); that will never change the numbers the tools show.

The ImportDutyUSA family

This hub is the front door to a family of single-purpose tools, all run by the same publisher on the same data-verification rules:

The guides explain the rules the calculators apply, with dated facts and links to the primary sources.

Independence

ImportDutyUSA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), USTR, USITC, any court, or any marketplace (Temu, Shein, AliExpress, Amazon, or others). Official names are used to describe what the tools calculate, nothing more.

What this site is not

Not legal, tax, or customs-broker advice. The calculators produce planning estimates; CBP makes the final determination on every entry. How the numbers are sourced and how often they are re-verified is documented on the methodology page.
